1. they themselves, themselves — The third person plural of kesi, and the only person form that takes the plural ending, before the possessive one. It stresses that it is they and nobody else: ala kesleri.

- kesleri da bilmeydile — they themselves do not know either
2. by themselves, on their own, alone — With jaŋız it means "all alone".
- sabiyle kesleri oquydula — the children read on their own
- üylerin kesleri işlegendile — they built their house by themselves
- kesleri ayrı olturdula — they sat apart by themselves
- işge kesleri çığadıla — they go out to work on their own
- kesleri jaŋız qaldıla — they were left all alone
3. their own — Stands before a noun that carries the ending for "their": kesleri qolları bla "with their own hands".
