calf (of the leg), the fleshy back part of the leg between the knee and the ankle — Common in the plural: baltırlarım awruydula "my calves hurt". In riding it is the part of the rider's calf that presses against the horse. Guzeev 1996–2005 also gives çabaq et for it.
