stomach — Said of both people and animals; Balkar sources restrict it to the stomach of an animal. Before another noun it means gastric, of the stomach (aşhın awruw stomach disease). Also the stomach used as a sausage casing in traditional dishes (aşhın qıyma, aşhın sohta).
