1. under, beneath, at the bottom of — Follows a noun in the genitive: kölnü tübünde "at the bottom of the lake", terekni tübünde "under the tree", qoltuq tübünde "under the arm". It also covers being under someone's power or authority, as in zulmunu tübünde "under oppression". With the first and second person it becomes tübümde "under me" and tübüŋde "under you".
