simptom
/simptom/ · plural simptomla
symptom, an outward sign of an illness — Suyunchev and Urusbiev 1965 gives the native word ışan "sign" alongside it. Guzeev 1996–2005 defines it broadly as a sign of something that shows on the outside, and its example is about illness: har awruwnu ençi simptomları bardı "every illness has its own symptoms".
- Har awruwnu ençi simptomları bardı — Every illness has its own symptoms
- Awruwnu simptomları köründüle — The symptoms of the illness appeared
- Bu awruwnu simptomları joqdu — This illness has no symptoms

The overlap in the last rows is real, not a mistake: simptomları can mean "his / her symptoms", "their symptom", or "their symptoms" — context decides.
