1. satisfied, content, pleased — What someone is satisfied with stands in the ablative or the dative.
- men senŋe razı boldum — I was pleased with you
- men andan razıma — I am satisfied with him
- qonaq aşıbızdan razı boldu — the guest was satisfied with our food
- senden razıma — I am satisfied with you
2. approving, in favor, consenting, willing, agreeable, affirmative — What someone consents to stands in the dative. In votes, razı em qarşçı means "for and against". Used adverbially, as in razı bolub ışardı "he smiled approvingly", it means approvingly or in the affirmative.
- kim razıdı? — who is in favor?
- aythanıŋa razıma — I agree with what you said
- razı em qarşçı — for and against

- razı juwab berirge — to give an approving answer

3. wanting, intending, inclined to do something — The intended action stands in the infinitive: ol keterge razıdı "he intends to leave".

- ustaz bolurğa razıma — I want to become a teacher
4. grateful, thankful — The person someone is grateful to stands in the dative: atama-anama razıma "I am grateful to my parents".

- atasına-anasına razı — grateful to his parents
- ataŋa-anaŋa razı bolurğa — to be grateful to your parents
