tra-la-la; a dance tune sung with the voice in place of an instrument — Usually heard in dımmıldıwnu soğub tepserge "dance to a sung tra-la-la". A riddle cited by Tenishev and Suyunchev 1989 runs eki qımıldıw eki dımmıldıw "two move and two dance" (the answer is the horses and the wheels of a cart). Tenishev and Suyunchev 1989 and Guzeev 1996–2005 both mark the word as colloquial Karachay.
