1. (pron.) each other, one another — The basic form of the reciprocal pronoun, used before a postposition such as bla "with" or üçün "for": bir biri bla kelişmew "not getting along with each other".

bir biri bla uşaq etedile — they are chatting with one another
qarnaşla bir biri bla dawlaşdıla — the brothers argued with each other

2. (pron.) each other's, one another's — It stands before a possessed noun, which carries the owners' ending: bir biri tilin "each other's language". With place nouns it gives bir biri ızından "one after another" and bir biri üsüne "one on top of another".
