still, yet, as yet, so far — Chiefly used in Karachay; the same as alıqa. It can also mean there is still enough time for something: men alqın bu kitabnı oqub boşarıqma "I will still have time to finish reading this book".

- sen alqın jaşsa — you are still young
- jaŋur alqın jawadı — the rain is still falling
- ol alqın saqal jülümeydi — he does not shave his beard yet
