ürenmegen
/yrenmeɡen/
1. untrained, unbroken, not adapted — The negative participle of ürenirge. It is said especially of a horse or other animal that has not been trained or broken in, as in ürenmegen at "an unbroken horse", and it also translates Russian "wild" when said of animals. It can also describe an untrained person.
- ürenmegen at — an untrained (unbroken) horse
- bu at ürenmegendi — this horse is unbroken
- ürenmegen it — an untrained dog
- ürenmegen atha minme — don't ride an unbroken horse
2. unaccustomed, not used to — What one is not used to goes in the dative: işge ürenmegen qolla "hands not used to work". ürenmegenden means "from lack of habit": ürenmegenden suwuqğa tözalmayma "not being used to it, I find the cold hard to bear".
- işge ürenmegen qolla — hands not used to work
- men suwuqğa ürenmegenme — I am not used to the cold
- şaharğa ürenmegen adam — a person unaccustomed to the city
- ürenmegenden suwuqğa tözalmayma — not being used to it, I find the cold hard to bear

Any thing takes the third-person ending, not only these: bu ürenmegendi, bıla ürenmegendile. In texts biznikile is usually kesibiznikile, "our own people", and a surname with -nıqıla names a family: Dudalanıqıla, "the Dudas".
