the personal property of a girl or daughter-in-law, her dowry; also the dowry chest holding it — Tenishev and Suyunchev 1989 marks it obsolete. Nevruz 1991 gives it as the dowry chest and quotes a folk blessing comparing something to the cord of a small dowry chest.
