Intended meaning
Said of a person who lets no one else have a say or a share of the benefit and grants others no freedom of action.
- Battal jaşlanı qatlarında bolur, sözü, keŋeşi bla boluşur, suw başın saqlağan emegenley, köz awruw a bolmaz.Battal will be there beside the young men, he will help with his word and his counsel, and he will not be a sore eye to them like a giant guarding the head of the water.
- Ket-ket, suw başın tıyğan emegenle kibik, bılaynı tıyğansız da, bizge juqmu jetedi! – dedi Ferdawus."Go on, go on — like giants damming the head of the water you have blocked this place off; does anything at all reach us?" said Ferdauus.
