Intended meaning
Said in urging someone to pull themselves together and live vigorously and with dignity, keeping their own counsel, so as to hold their own in the eyes of well-wishers and ill-wishers alike.
- Süygenni-süymegenni arasında adam bol dep küreşeme. Jeriŋe oltur da, qadalıb oqu, – dedi Talib jaşına."I keep pressing you to be a decent man, whoever wishes you well or ill. Sit down in your place and study hard," Talip said to his son.
