A close kinsman by birth, related through one's father, mother, or clan line.
- Kertisin aytsaq, – dedi Adilgeriy, – sizden artha saqlarça, meni juwuğum da joqdu. Et ne da süt juwuq bolmağanlıqğa, biz niet juwuqbuz.To tell the truth, said Adilgeriy, I have no kinsman either to fall back on behind you. Though we are no relatives by flesh or milk, we are kin in spirit.
