To lift the hands up to the level of the ears and let them down again as part of performing the Muslim ritual prayer.

Atına da suw içirib, anı kişenlep, otlarğa boşlağandan sora, Basiyat abidez aldı. Jamıçısın qırtişge jayıb, anı üsünde namazğa süelib, qulaq qaqdı.After watering his horse, hobbling it and letting it loose to graze, Basiyat performed the ablution. Spreading his felt cloak on the turf, he stood on it for the prayer and raised his hands to his ears.
