Intended meaning
Said to steel oneself when facing a loss or misfortune: that is the worst of it, and it can be borne — especially when livestock or property has been lost.
- Sora sanawu tawusulğan qart kimge kerekdi, – biyçe qızladan qorqmay edi, öltürsele da, ayımıdı, qorarıq ol bolsun.And who needs an old man whose days are numbered anyway — he was not afraid of the noble girls; even if they killed him, what of it, let that be the thing that perishes.
