Intended meaning
A resigned remark used when someone counts themselves unfortunate: there is nothing good to be heard from a person whose life has gone badly.
- Oy-qoy, – dep, ahsınıb juwap berdi Zuriyat, – oŋmağanŋa hapar sorma deydile, üydegi jaşaw etalmadı."Oh well," Zuriyat answered with a sigh, "they say you shouldn't ask the luckless for news — my family life did not work out."
