To go on behaving exactly as before, without altering one's conduct or habits.
- Qarawul keçe uşkok ata, tarh etdire aylanŋanlıqğa, uşkokga üyrenŋen börüça bolğandıla da, toŋuzla küwşenŋenlerin buzğanŋa uşamaydıla.Although the watchman goes about firing his rifle at night and making a racket, they have become like wolves used to gunfire, and the boars do not look as though they have broken off their cud-chewing.
