Intended meaning
Said to console someone whose animal has died or been lost: may the loss fall on the beast and not on you, and may you yourself live on unharmed.
- Adam zaranı jetgen ese, ay bla kün kibik açıq bolsun. Janlı zaranı jetib qorağan ese ua, malığız başığız orununa bolsun! – dep, ertte oquna qayğı sözün bergen edi."If the harm has struck a person, may it be as clear as moon and sun. But if a beast was harmed and perished, then may your livestock stand in place of your own heads!" – he said, offering his words of condolence early on.
