Literal translation

at whose mouth the village looks, who turns [people] to his mouth

Wise and level-headed, so that everyone seeks his counsel and defers to his word.

Ergeş ağay, sen awuzuŋa el qarağan adamsa."Ergesh agay, you are a man whose word the whole village heeds."
Bar edi saw el awuzuŋa qarağan zamanıŋ.There was a time when the whole village hung on your every word.
