What is of value is kept within one's own community rather than handed to outsiders — said above all of a fine village girl, who is not let go in marriage to someone from elsewhere.
- Madina elde birinçi qızdı. Ariw suwnu kişi eşikge tökmeydi dep, anı Magomet kişige ıçhındırmadı.Madina was the finest girl in the village. Saying "nobody pours clean water out the door," Magomet would not let her go to anyone.
