Intended meaning
To say not one word about something, good or bad, and give away nothing of what one knows.
- Zawurbek, tıŋılab turğan bolmasa, awuzun açıb, aqdan, qaradan söz aytmadı.Zaurbek, apart from sitting there in silence, never opened his mouth to say a single word one way or the other.
- Çöpellew neni üsünden aytsa da, Gorda aŋa aqdan, qaradan da juq qoşmawçudu, ol uruş haparlarında Çöpellewnü ua sağınmawçudu.Whatever Chöpellew spoke about, Gorda would never add a word to it either way, and in his war stories he never mentioned Chöpellew at all.
