Literal translation
the one who eats will die, and the one who does not eat will die
Intended meaning
Said of food so bad or tasteless that eating it is no better than going without.
- Allay aman aşha tawlula: «Munu aşağan da ölür, aşamağan da ölür», – dewçüdüle.Of such bad food the highlanders say: "Whoever eats it will die, and whoever does not eat it will die too."
