To perform the wedding custom of leading the new bride into the room where her parents-in-law and the clan's elders are seated, lifting her veil and showing her face to them.
- Soltanmurat da, kelinçigini üsünde bar adetleni boljalğa salmay, keltirgenin, üyge kiyirgenin, söleşdirgenin, olturthanın, aşathanın da arada kün ozdurmay qurap, ayağın-başın boş etdi.Soltanmurat, too, put off none of the customs owed to his young bride — bringing her home, leading her into the house, having her speak, seating her, feeding her — he arranged them all without letting a day pass between, and got the whole thing done.
