Balkar spelling: tüyül
is not, not — Used bare to negate a word or phrase: alay tül "not like that", followed by bılay et "do it like this". It also takes the personal endings of 'to be' (I am not, you are not). After a future participle it says that something will not happen (kellik tüldü "he won't come"). With edi it forms past and would-have forms, and with ese it forms conditions (kellik tül ese "if he doesn't come").
