1. which one's, whose (of several) — The genitive of qaysı. Some writers also use it for the object, where qaysın is usual.
- qaysını üyüne barayıq? — to which one's house shall we go?
- qaysını hıylası ozğandı? — whose cunning won?
- ekisinden qaysını jolu igi boldu? — of the two, which one's journey went well?
2. someone's, somebody's — In this sense it is followed by ese da or bolsa da.
- qaysını ese da awazı eşitildi — someone's voice was heard
- qaysını ese da sözüne qarab — heeding someone's word
- qaysını ese da sözün böldü — he interrupted someone's words
- qaysını bolsa da üyüne jıyıldıla — they gathered at somebody's house
