janbaşına

sideways, to one side; crookedly, awry, obliquely; the wrong way — Often used of a hat worn tilted to one side: börkün janbaşına kiedi "he wears his hat cocked to one side". Guzeev 1996–2005 refers it to the adverb janbaş, which it largely shares meanings with.
