fizzy, effervescent, prone to fermenting (of a liquid such as buza or ayran) — Said of drinks that fizz as they ferment: bızhıldawuq ayran "fizzy ayran", bızhıldawuq boza "fizzy buza". Of buza that has fermented one says it bızhıldawuq bolğandı "has turned fizzy". Before a noun for a drink it gives fizzy drinks generally, as in bızhıldawuq suw "fizzy drink".
